How CBOS is calculated

62% Japan momentum + 23% inverse US saturation + 15% signal quality

Japan momentum combines view velocity, acceleration, new related videos, channel diffusion and engagement. Search activity is included only when an approved official source is available.

Evidence gates

At least three related videos
At least two independent channels
At least three observations spanning two hours
Signal quality of 40 or higher

What the score does not mean

A high score is not a prediction that a topic will go viral. Platform data can be incomplete, delayed or revised. Rights, safety and cultural context still require human review.

Data freshness

Free results are delayed by six hours. Pro results target hourly updates. Every signal displays its last successful collection time; stale data is never presented as current.
